About Lakewood
With a community in excess of 158,000 people and a median age of 38.8 years old, Lakewood ranks as one of the largest urban areas in Colorado — coming in at fifth overall. Found between the foothills of the Rocky Mountains and 7 miles from downtown Denver, the convenient access to mass transit and a wide range of job opportunities helps make this Denver suburb a very desirable place to explore and live.
Development began in 1889 with an area encompassing 13 blocks around Colfax Avenue west of Denver. For several decades, Lakewood did not possess a conventional downtown area and only began expanding by the 1950s to include grocery stores, gas stations, motels, dining establishments, banks, and cinemas.
The weather is relatively moderate with more than 200 days of sunshine annually and average temperatures in the winter hovering around 40 degrees, with a handful of days in summer hitting 90+ degrees. Green Mountain has been providing premium-quality landscape design in Lakewood for over 30 years.

Testimonials
I hired Denis and Green Mountain to do landscaping and install sprinklers at my Park Hill home. I screened 8 landscaping contractors — Green Mountain was the ONLY one that came on time, clean and presentable, and prepared to meet my needs. They also had the most competitive bid. The work was finished as planned, on time, and on budget. Denis is a true professional! I will hire them again and recommend them to my friends and neighbors.
