About Thornton
Named in honor of former Colorado Governor Dan Thornton, this city was the very first full town in Adams County. Prior to 1953, the area located seven miles to the north of Denver was comprised strictly of farms until a parcel of land was bought and developed by Sam Hoffman. Just two years afterward, the population had grown to 5,500 residents and more than 1,200 homes. Thornton was incorporated as a city in 1956.
Spanning the counties of Adams and Weld, Thornton, Colorado lies northeast of Denver and is the 6th largest urban area in Colorado.
With over 200 days of sunshine per year, the weather here is rather mild compared to other locations in the state, with June, August, and September being the most pleasant months. Temperatures over the course of the year vary from 22 degrees Fahrenheit to 88 degrees Fahrenheit.
Green Mountain is able to provide Thornton, Colorado landscaping installs and revamps that fit perfectly with Colorado's climate.

Testimonials
I hired Denis and Green Mountain to do landscaping and install sprinklers at my Park Hill home. I screened 8 landscaping contractors — Green Mountain was the ONLY one that came on time, clean and presentable, and prepared to meet my needs. They also had the most competitive bid. The work was finished as planned, on time, and on budget. Denis is a true professional! I will hire them again and recommend them to my friends and neighbors.
