About Boulder
Located 25 miles northwest of Denver, this town of just more than 100,000 residents boasts an elevation of 5,430 feet above sea level and lies at the base of the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. Aside from being a well-known area for outdoor enthusiasts, the "Happiest Place in the United States," as Boulder has frequently been referred to, also offers a range of fine art and cultural events, festivals, eclectic restaurants, shopping, and the annual Bolder Boulder 10K run that draws in over 50,000 runners from around the world.
The distinct topography of residential yards located against the shadow of the Flatirons comes with its own unique landscape design and installation challenges. The weather here is fairly mild with over 200 days of sunlight per year. Average temperatures in the wintertime range from the mid to high 40s, with off-and-on hot summer days ending with brief, frequent afternoon thunderstorms.
Native Americans were the first to inhabit the Boulder Valley, consisting mainly of the Southern Arapaho tribe. The first non-native settlement within metro limits was created in 1858 by gold seekers in what is now called Settler's Park, located at the mouth of Boulder Canyon. By 1880, the population of Boulder had reached 3,000 people.

Testimonials
I hired Denis and Green Mountain to do landscaping and install sprinklers at my Park Hill home. I screened 8 landscaping contractors — Green Mountain was the ONLY one that came on time, clean and presentable, and prepared to meet my needs. They also had the most competitive bid. The work was finished as planned, on time, and on budget. Denis is a true professional! I will hire them again and recommend them to my friends and neighbors.
