Commercial Landscaping Job in Lakewood
This job is actually an ongoing project at a condominium complex near Kipling and Florida in Lakewood.
The condos have small timber retaining walls at numerous places on the grounds. These retaining walls only extend a couple of feet into the error and completely surround buildings. On top of these retaining walls are crushed stone, as well as planting areas for shrubs.
Our job has been to replace old timbers that have been weathered and damaged by the elements, and to replace them with brand new pressure treated timbers. These new timbers are 6″x6″x8′. This pressure treated wood comes in green and brown. The wood in the photo above is actually green – even though it looks like a white brown.
With proper care, retaining walls like this can last a long, long time – anywhere from 20-30 years.
